These kinds of questions already made me insane, cause of DA. There I was swarmed with these kinds of questions, to which I always had to answer “Yes, you can use my art or shit as your whatever…”.
Same question on tumblr just made something tick, so I had to write down that little rant.

Please, don’t ask such obvious questions.
For example, you wanna use a picture of a cute kitty cat as your avatar, you don’t really go to the photographer and then to the cat’s owner and then to that very same cat to ask their permission on using their work as your avatar. That is silly.
Though sometimes the works of art are simply restricted from photographing or even downloading. These works of art are held in some kind of gallery. Do you see my tumblr as a high art gallery? If so… re-think your opinion regarding myself.
